Soaps
Our soap bars are cold processed and made by hand in our workshop in Avry-sur-Matran, near Fribourg. Natural soaps based on organic plant oils, for face, hands and body.

Cold process soap, never cooked
The soap batter is never cooked, so the glycerine formed during saponification stays in the bar. We also leave a little extra oil that the lye doesn’t turn into soap. This superfat leaves skin soft after rinsing. Each bar then cures for several weeks before it goes on sale. The full method is on our page Cold process soap.
Savon de Marseille and Aleppo soap
Two traditional soaps complete the range without coming from our workshop. The Savon de Marseille comes from the Marius Fabre soap works, founded in 1900 in Salon-de-Provence, which still boils it in a cauldron. The Aleppo soap combines olive oil with 20 % laurel oil.
Frequently asked questions
Do your soaps contain palm oil?
No, none of the soaps from our workshop do. Our recipes are mainly based on olive, coconut and rapeseed oils.
Which soap is best for sensitive skin?
A soap without essential oils, so without fragrance. Each product page lists the full ingredients.
Soaps without essential oilsHow do I make a soap bar last?
Let it dry between uses, on a soap dish that drains the water away. A bar left sitting in water softens and wears down faster.
