Cold-Process Soap-Making Workshop - CHF 250 per person (3 people max)

Date: Saturday 7 November 2026, 8am to midday

Location: Avry-Bourg 38, 1754 Avry

What the workshop includes:

• 1 kg of soap that you’ll have made yourself.
• An explanatory booklet with formulas to guide you.
• A pH testing kit to check the quality of your soap.
• Refreshments: tea, coffee and cold drinks to accompany the workshop.

Protective equipment provided: Apron, gloves, hairnet and mask to keep you safe throughout the workshop.

How the workshop runs:

1. Theory: An introduction to soap-making, the importance of safety, a presentation of the equipment needed, choosing raw materials, formulating your recipe with a saponification chart, and finally, time for your questions.
2. Practice: Guided step by step, you’ll be supported in making your first soap. You’ll be able to choose between three base formulas and personalise your creation with flowers, seeds or clay, as you prefer.
3. Debrief: A moment to answer all your post-workshop questions. You’ll leave with your booklet, three formulas to try at home, and useful addresses for buying raw materials. A week after the course, you can collect your bar of soap or opt to have it posted (CHF 9 postage).
